Founder of VHR Consultancy, a multi-award-winning talent management service provider with a strong presence in Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. Specializing in executive recruitment, HR consultancy, sales training, and coaching, FangKai Low is a recognized leader in talent management and personal branding.

FangKai comes with a combined 20 years of Corporate and HR experience. Trained as an engineer, and passionate about developing talent.

He founded VHR Consultancy --- a multiple-awards-winning HR service provider since 2012 --- and now focusing on serving the HR community.

He has more than a decade of combined HR experience in coaching, training and executive search across Asia Pacific region. He holds the vision of creating value for better life. He believes that every individual is a talent and through coaching, each individual can create more values.

He started his career as a Sales Engineer and was gradually promoted to become a Country Manager with P&L responsibility, and ultimately served as the Head of Corporate Planning & Business Development in a Public Listed Company (PLC), before venturing into the HR industry.

In Hexagon Group, he successfully turnaround Thailand operations with 6 years losses into a profitable organization within 1 year.
In MRI group, he successfully set up Indonesia operations and now considered to be one of the most profitable organizations.
Successfully led VHR group to win multiple HR awards in Malaysia landscape.

He holds a Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering University Technology Malaysia (UTM) and MBA from University of Southern Queensland (USQ), Australia.

As an experienced career advisor, Fang Kai is capitalising on his corporate exposure and HR experience to ask insightful coaching questions to his audience to challenge their belief to move out from comfort zone in order to achieve new career heights.

(2011 - 2012)

Expanded MRI’s engineering recruitment division and successfully established operations in Indonesia, achieving #1 Top Achiever status across multiple regions.

Country Manager (Thailand) | PCA Group

(2009 - 2011)

Successfully turned around both the Thailand operation and the Penang Branch from losses to profitability within one year, while also achieving positive cash flow for the Thailand operation. Promoted from Senior Manager to Country Manager, and later deployed by the Group CEO/Chairman as Group HR Manager to stabilize HR operations.
